WHAT GOES UP WILL EVENTUALLY BE SUBJECT TO GRAVITATIONAL PULLS THAT WILL BRING IT BACK DOWN, UNLESS THE OBJECT IN QUESTION MANAGES TO BREAK OUR ATMOSPHERE, IN WHICH CASE THE CHANCES OF IT RETURNING ARE SLIM.

We make it down successfully and travel along a rocky, mountain trail, slowly but surely, for quite some time. We finally make it to the easiest fucking river i've ever seen.

Okay seriously the AI has taken us west of Salt Lake City. Why the fuck are we going to california? (Again, the poorly edited-in dot is roughly where we are)
I hope we take that path south because we're not supposed to be going this far west. ANYWAY, here's another easy river.

We find candles and oil previously owned by a satanic cult to set the mood for lusty, oily, demonic sex.

After a day of rest and a day of travel, Prinner is still alive but still suffering symptoms of the snake bite.

Prinner has made a full recovery. Again.
But now he'll die of thirst, crossing a desert that we're not even supposed to be crossing with no canteens and no water kegs.
How are we gonna tackle this? Or do we want to finally say this shit's gone too far and turn back around?

Re: Let's Play Oregon Trail II
There is, in the inventory screen that I haven't actually posted any pictures of. Though to be honest, i'm not sure if we'll be able to change our path to Salt Lake City when we're going back. Maybe we can just head all the way back to Nauvoo!!!!
And if things don't work out, we can always turn back again. The downsides are wasting time, food, and re-traversing obstacles we've already passed.
Do it?

Re: Let's Play Oregon Trail II
We turn back east, passing a few landmarks and fording one of those really shitty rivers, but otherwise travelling uninterrupted for half a month.
On this chunk of screen, we seem to be hugging closer to the south end of it, instead of the north we came from. I think we're heading in the right direction now, to Salt Lake City.
However, we're in the middle of November now. It's cold, and that's bad. I suspect this screen is going to pop up a lot. We're close, but gotta get moving.
