The Bitches are too heavy for our wagon, so we leave without them.

About 15 miles later

Peppermint administered. Shortly afterwards, we're at a river.

After ferrying across the river, we slowly progress over the rainy, muddy frontier for a few days.

We're right in the middle of June and the heat is getting intense. Should we slow down?

Health Update: Prinners has recovered from Cholera, but Leafblower still has Dysentery. Both are feeling fair, and the rest of the party is feeling good.

In addition to clicking "Slow down", i've also manually set our speed to 8 hours a day for a while.

I stopped to save and close the game between events here, and need to bring up that Prinners isn't feeling too hot.

Poor isn't a very common status for travellers who aren't dying, and he "recovered" from the symptoms of Cholera unusually quickly. Also, the music's gone all creepy.

Maybe nothing will happen, but I get a slight suspicion old grandpa Prinners might be departing early. I'll update the thread again later when there isn't a massive fucking lightning storm over my house.

To my surprise, Prinners is actually recovering. He's "OK" now, which I believe is below fair but still above poor. Maybe I just overreacted. Moving on.

Riverside, motherfucker. (We have $63.15 and it is currently raining)

Moose, i'd try to kill you, but it seems the river already attempted that.

Moving onwards down the river, Britishguy's got the sniffles. This isn't terrible, but we certainly don't want pneumonia. What do?

Health update:
Moe is Good.
Moose is OK. Almost drowning inflicts a minor health penalty for a few days, and he's just now recovering.
Leafblower is Fair and is still showing symptoms of Dysentery.
ZeroZiat is Good.
Britishguy is Fair and is (obviously) showing symptoms of a cold.
Prinners has made a full recovery and is Good.

Getting advice from the tissue requires DLC, but this guy thinks we're massive pussies and we should keep going.

We continue trekking along the river in deep sand and mud. A while later, the sand starts getting intense and we're caught up in a dust storm.
